Now I know why Peter Pan and the Lost Boys ran off to Never-Never Land. Growing up has its major benefits, but man we just never seem to have enough free time to play. Actually I get quit a bit off, but it comes in spirts. Since this little project hasn't reached a level that can pay for our drinks, much less the bills, we still have to work normal jobs. Our designs made their way onto some shirts and have gone out to about 300 high school kids. Maybe the general public will get some.
Waketoberfest is coming up next week so get your gear and go to Austin. The crew will be around making bad decision. There has been no action on the water as you can guess due to the aftermath of Ike and it may still be awhile. The lake has an odd color, a slight stench and many random objects floating on top or submerged below the murk. It just isnt a place to be riding right now. EIBlah will keep you posted.
HATS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. Get yourself one along with some stickers to represent.
STORM'S A BREWING

Fridays are supposed to be for finalizing weekend plans, doing the least work possible and sliding out of the office early. For many of us on the Gulf Coast this Friday is packed with preparartions for Gustavo, the approaching Hurricane coming through the Caribbean. You know what's freaky about it? Same expected path, same expected landing date and scenario as Katrina/ Rita combo. Time to get a move on folks because it could get ugly. As for me, we are headed straight for Lake Charles trying to slide between the two storms. Thanks office for planning that...its going to be a couple of rough days at sea around my office.

The base coat has been laid, but the final isn't dry yet. Im talking about the website of course. Nick took some scribbles we had and made them into a reality. Now it is up to us to actually fill in the missing pieces so that the site looks legit..even though we aren't at times. Keep your eyes open for the latest. It takes time, but we the ball is rolling downhill and we are gaining momentum...FINALLY.

Somehow going between Seth's upstairs, into my jeep and driving home...no other stops...I lost my Canon point n shoot. They are so handy that you often forget it's even there, but when they are gone you really realize just how much you like snapping away with it. Things are looking good though. The camera never showed up, but the fine folks at Nikon make this little beauty called the Coolpix P5100 and I got one. Take a D-series capabilities, compress it into a point n shoot body and the P5100 is what happens.

Im back out on the open seas, but today we are sitting in CT right down the street from Mohican Sun casino and you know what that means? The best free drinks money can buy. That complimentary Jim Beam tastes so good after your $50 bet gets shoveled away by the dealer. Out of the $150 bucks I started with I got down to my last 20 and dropped it on Red....and just like that I doubled my money. Some craps were in store and overall I came away $30 down. Not bad for a few rounds of Jim Beam and cheap excitement.
